Staff Reporter: Land Minister Narayon Chandra Chanda has directed the Assistant Commissioners (Land) to provide services to the land service recipients with sincerity and good behavior. At the same time, he also directed them to listen carefully to the problems of the land service recipients and provide advice if applicable.
Land Minister Narayon Chandra Chanda gave the directive while addressing the closing and certificate distribution ceremony of the 36th and 37th Basic Land Management Courses held at the Land Administration Training Center in Nilkhet in the capital on Monday. Land Secretary Md. Khalilur Rahman was present as a special guest.
In his speech, the Land Minister emphasized that the service recipients ought to avail the mutation service within the appropriate time in return for a fair fee fixed by the government. The land minister told the AC Land that one person's land should not be illegally mutated by others. The Land Minister also asked them to always be vigilant in protecting government and Khas land.
The Land Minister informed the ACs (Land) who received the training that feedback on the work of the ACs (Land) will be taken after a period of posting in the field.
Land Secretary Md. Khalilur Rahman told the ACs (Land) that the work of providing land services at the field level through the dashboard is being closely monitored. Necessary action will be taken after seeing the progress of the work on the dashboard.
Director of the Land Administration Training Center Md. Arif presided over the function while officials of the Ministry of Land and Land Administration Training Center were present among others. A total of 79 Assistant Commissioners (Land) of the 37th and 38th batches of BCS Administration Cadre participated in the 5 week long 36th and 37th Basic Land Management Courses.
