Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi observed in Natore

Natore correspondent: The holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi, marking the birth and demise of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), was observed  in the district today as elsewhere in the country with due religious fervor and solemnity.

In observance of the day, the district administration organized a discussion on 'Life, Work and Education of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) this morning.

The discussion was held in the conference room of the District Commissioner’s office. Khatib of Kandivita Jame Masjid Hafez Maulana Md Golam Mostafa addressed the function as the key speaker while Acting Deputy Commissioner Md Masudur Rahman chaired it.

Deputy Director of Islamic Foundation of the district office Muhammad Imamul Islam and Natore Press Club President Faraji Ahmad Rafiq Baban, among others, spoke.

Speakers said that the Almighty Allah sent Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a mercy to the world. He was exemplary role models in all walks of life. It is possible to achieve peace of mind and establish justice in the society by keeping his philosophy in heart and following it.

Bangladesh Shishu Academy organized essay and Hamd-Naat competition for children today.  Distribution of prizes among the winners and doa mahfil were held at Shishu Academy office after the Hamd-Naat competition.

On the occasion, the Islamic Foundation yesterday organized a competition of Qiraat, Azan, Hamd-Naat, poetry recitation and essay competition with the participation of students. Prizes and certificates were distributed among the winners.
