State Minister for Information arrived in Turkey to attend the conference of information ministers of OIC member states

Desk Report: State Minister for Information and Broadcasting of Bangladesh Mohammad Ali Arafat has arrived in Istanbul, Turkey to attend the conference of Information Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

State Minister for Information and Broadcasting arrived at Istanbul Airport at 3 PM local time.

Consul General of Bangladesh appointed in Istanbul Mohammed Nore-Alam welcomed the Minister of State in Istanbul. 

Earlier this Friday morning, State Minister for Information and Broadcasting left Dhaka for Istanbul, Turkey by a flight of Turkish Airlines.

During his visit to Turkey, State Minister for Information and Broadcasting will attend the special session of the Islamic Conference of Information Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states on February 24. The theme of this special session is 'Israeli government's disinformation and hostility against journalists during the Israeli occupation of Palestine'. Mohammad Ali Arafat will also meet the Information Ministers of Qatar and Turkey on this day. Besides, State Minister for Information and Broadcasting is scheduled to visit the Turkish Radio and Television office on February 25.

State Minister for Information and Broadcasting will return to Dhaka on February 28 after his visit to Turkey.
