Qatar will cooperate in creating global media in Bangladesh

Desk Report: Qatar will cooperate in the development of media in Bangladesh and the creation of global media in Bangladesh.

Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Media Corporation Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Thani Al-Thani assured for this cooperation when State Minister for Information and Broadcasting of Bangladesh Mohammad Ali Arafat met him on the side-lines of the Islamic Conference of Information Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states in Istanbul, Turkey on Saturday afternoon.

State Minister for Information and Broadcasting of Bangladesh and the Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Media Corporation held fruitful discussions on how to develop mutual cooperation between Bangladesh and Qatar in the light of the experience of creating global media such as Al Jazeera. 

At that time, both of them agreed on the exchange of knowledge and experience between the two countries in the media sector as well as cultural exchange. They expressed hope that the bilateral relations between the two countries will further develop through this.
