Denmark officially assumes the Presidency of the Council of EU

Desj Report: Denmark officially assumes the Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the eighth time. Under the theme "A Strong Europe in a Changing World," the Danish Presidency will focus on: 

• A secure Europe – strengthening collaboration among member states, standing with Ukraine, strengthening defence and countering disinformation

• A green Europe – driving innovation and accelerating the green transition

This role places Denmark at the heart of EU policymaking, ensuring continuity in the EU agenda and advancing a stronger, more competitive Europe.
